During spring there will be lots of thoroughbred horse races in Melbourne. For girls, other than the horse racing, the biggest thing is... the FASHION...

The Melbourne Cup is Australia's major annual race. It has been held on the first Tuesday in November since 1861 on the Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne. And I tell you, it IS big... so big that they made The Melbourne Cup a public holiday in Victoria!!
